Libya

The U.S. and European military bases blasted Libya with airstrikes and over 100 cruise missiles. These hit air defenses and at least two air bases in Libya. Moammar Gadhafi from Libya states it is going to be a 'long war'. The strikes were made against Libya after Gadhafi's firepower was threatening the month-old rebellion against 41-year rule. One of the missiles hit an air force complex outside Misrata, the last rebel-held city in western Libya. Despite the strikes, Gadhafi forces continued bombarding Misrata.
Libya
I think it is wrong with what is going on in Libya. People should not have to deal with a cruel and un fair ruler. I feel it was right of the U.S. and Europeans forces to strike out against Libya. Gadhafi is getting out of control. I believe the U.S. or another country on our side need to step in and help Libya more. People will never be free in the country unless they receive help as soon as possible. Gadhafi should not have been allowed to continue hurting people in Libya for not obeying him. This is wrong and goes completely against human rights.

Japan

Sixty nine different governments have pitched in to help the Japanese foreign ministry since hit by an earthquake and tsunami. The United States, United Kingdom, China, and South Korea are among those governments. The United States has sent supplies, several warships, and search and rescue teams over to Japan. Many Japanese people have been affected by this disaster. Aid groups have been rushing in to help those people. There are mobile clinics and assessments that have been added to evacuation areas. Search and rescue teams have been sent out to help find victims.
Japan
The United States is doing a great job stepping up and helping Japan. The U.S. has its problems, but when other countries need help the U.S. takes on the responsibility along with others. A disaster like this needs people to come together and help one another. Japan needs all of the help they can receive right now. The damages are unreal and people are in shock. I think it will take a long time till Japan is able to recover from a disaster like this. More governments need to be volunteering to help the Japanese. The whole world needs to be getting involved.
